Claudia Swartz started her blues career as a harmonica player and singer in Atlanta, GA in the 1990s and performed there with some of the greatest old blues folks in the city. In 2003 after a move to Fort Bragg, NC, Claudia became a prolific blues promoter and single handedly organized the now legendary “Local Artist Blues Showcases” and the “Bohemian Arts and Music Festival” at the HQ Library in Fayetteville, NC.

In February 2020, Claudia moved to Cuenca, Ecuador and formed her new Blues Enigma Band with players from Ecuador, Argentina and Venezuela. The band has gained much attention among the Cuenca expat community as well as locals who heard the band. Blues Enigma Band performs for sold-out events and is a most unique show and dance band with an explosive mix of blues in all variations.

The band has performed at Quito International Blues Festival Latino America in 2022 and 23 and this year at The Ambato International Blues Festival. The band is available for any type of event such as festivals and private parties.
